The European Parliament has released a video on why citizens should vote during the European elections. Under the title ‘chose your future’, the video makes a case for taking part in shaping the future of Europe as a duty between generations, from the perspective of a newborn child
The video builds on recent polls that suggest that 80% of Europeans think that what brings them together is stronger than what separates them. The video is available with a large number of subtitles.
The European Parliament is running the campaign ‘This Time, I’m Voting‘, encouraging citizens to register their intent to go and vote, as well as to encourage other citizens to do likewise. AGE Platform Europe is proud to be an official partner of the campaign.
