Member of the European Parliament Sirpa Pietikäinen, of the Finnish Kansallinen Kokoomus (National Coalition Party/EPP) has called for age-friendly societies in a video message:

‘Age-friendly societies - meaning urban environments, housing, services and products - are crucial for our ageing societies’

Ms Pietikäinen has been a member of the European Parliament since 2008 and is a member of the Intergroup subgroup on Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations.
